Method of Training
PowerPoint presentation delivered in a classroom situation followed by a practical demonstration incorporating the 8 Principles of Safe Lifting. Where possible training is carried out in the workplace in order to ensure that the training is embedded in the participants work practices.Assessment
Participants will be required to complete a course questionnaire and a practical demonstration including lifting to and from ground level, lifting to and from bench level, lifting to and from height and pushing & pulling a load. Assessment forms are used to record each individual's performance.Delegates: Maximum 12 participants
Course Duration: Half- day
Certification: On successful completion of this course, Mc Nulty Training & Safety Solutions certificate will be issued.
